Famous TikTok Books

It seems as though book lovers have just about made their way into every crevice of the internet. It started with blogs. When blogs were the preferred choice of social platform, everyone and their mum had a blog about books. Eventually those became ‘irrelevant’ and book enthusiasts from all over the globe made their way to Instagram or Bookstagram as it has been coined. Now while Bookstagram is still the preferred bookish social media community, bookworms have been slowly taking over the newest social media site, TikTok. On TikTok, users share 60 second videos about absolutely anything they want and book related videos have been dominating the platform lately. People are sharing their most beloved books, and equally their most hated, to hundreds of thousands and even millions of viewers.

Here at Midland Books, we have spent more time than we care to admit scrolling through videos to find the most highly recommended TikTok books or more famously BookTok as we have learned. Here are some of the most recommended TikTok books;

When the Germans infiltrate Paris in 1940, Marie and her father leave for Brittany where they stay with her uncle.
